Garden Walls — Frequently Asked Questions

Garden wall costs in Ireland vary by type: rendered block walls cost €150–€250 per linear metre, brick walls €200–€350/m, natural stone walls €300–€500/m. A typical front boundary wall of 10 linear metres costs €2,000–€3,500 depending on height and material.

We build brick boundary walls, rendered block walls, natural stone walls, retaining walls, capped walls, garden piers and pillar walls across Dublin, Kildare and Meath.

Walls up to 1 metre high on a road boundary and up to 2 metres elsewhere are generally exempted development. Higher walls or walls on protected structures may require planning permission. We advise on this during your free quote.

A standard front boundary wall of 10–15 metres takes 2–3 days. Larger walls or those with piers, gates and pillars may take 4–5 days.

Brick and rendered block walls are the most popular in Ireland. Brick is traditional and durable. Rendered block is modern and cost-effective. Natural stone suits rural properties and period homes beautifully.

Yes. We build retaining walls to manage level changes in gardens. These require proper drainage and engineering depending on height. We assess each retaining wall project individually during the free quote.
